Introductory Statement
Thank you for visiting my e-portfolio site! This site was created Spring 2015 during my Student Teaching Experience.
I remember the first moment I realized that I wanted to teach. It was my first year out of high school and I was confused as to what career path I wanted to pursue. As I pondered my previous years of schooling, I suddenly realized that the people I respected most in my life were teachers and that above all else I wanted to give value to young people and enable them to pursue their dreams. Teaching is the means by which I can accomplish that fervent desire to positively and passionately shape students' lives.
My studies in education at Regent University have worked to further fashion my teaching beliefs and ability. Increasingly, my semester of student teaching challenged and inspired me as I began my educational journey into the classroom.
This e-portfolio is designed to give you a glimpse into my educational beliefs and ability as it provides lesson plans, teaching materials, and other artifacts from my semester of student teaching.
Again, thank you for visiting my site.
